Kforce has a client in search of a Gen Ops GCB 8 in New York, NY.
Summary: The purpose of this role is to acquire a broad understanding of processes assigned, monitor work and allocate work on a daily basis to Processing Executives. The daily activities include receiving documents, scanning through to appropriately escalate where needed, processing uploads, and distributing accordingly. There will be mailing responsibilities locally and globally.
? Perform various assigned day to day functions within the Global Trade and Receivable Finance Services document management team; Including but not limited to scanning, indexing, data entry into proprietary company systems, document receipt, and dispatch ? Assist supervisor with various day to day activities and projects as required ? Read and understand DIM and relevant FIMs, and provide updates to Document Management DIM if/when required ? Provide guidance and training to less experienced personnel within the team ? Assist in managing and ensuring timely and accurate service delivery for data entry and quality control for all products handled within established service standards ? Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with the company or regulatory standards and policies
? An Associate's degree minimum is preferred ? Knowledge and experience in Trade transaction processing and customer service; The importance of the trade experience is to have a thorough understanding of verbiage used in Commercial trade documents, so the worker is able to accurately scan ? Experience of trade operation document processing/commercial trade finance experience is preferable ? Computer literate and ability to work on basic applications such as MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook ? Familiar with trade documents scanning, and courier services mailing processing ? Good understanding of Operational Risk related to the underlying Trade Transactions ? Good interpersonal, influencing and communication skills ? Proven success and achievement in the past working experience where one has to handle multiple tasks independently ? Strong organizing and time management skills and is solutions oriented ? Can work independently and quickly, with good attention to detail and is solutions oriented ? Good command of spoken and written English desirable ? Self-motivated with initiative, willing to take on new and additional responsibilities and assist where needed/interdepartmental ? Ability to balance quality and quantity (volumes) with primary focus on quality ? Ability to work irregular working hours (up to 7:30pm on weekdays) and overtime as needed
